The MAC 10 Original was the first Fan Powered HEPA Filter Unit (FFU) ever developed, originally designed by the U.S. government and later introduced to the commercial market in the early 1980s. The unit is available in multiple sizes, including 2×4, 2×3, 2×2, and 2×3.5 (the latter offering a 6″ blank section to accommodate sprinkler heads when required). Each MAC 10 comes standard with a 3-speed motor compatible with 115V, 220/240V, and 277V configurations, and can be equipped with a range of optional controls and accessories, such as a solid-state speed controller (SSSC) for precise airflow adjustment.
